“Drone Shots” of Table Mountain: From the Past to the Future
Botanical ink drawings on Fabriano
Table Mountain, or “Hoerikwagga,” stands as South Africa’s most iconic landmark—a place steeped in ancient myths, timeless stories, and deep spiritual resonance. From the time of the first peoples to the present day, this sacred mountain has witnessed centuries of change. It will continue to watch over the centuries to come—but what will those future centuries bring?
Through my “Drone Shots” of Table Mountain, I trace its journey through time—its enduring power, energy, strength, and beauty standing unshaken across the ages, untouched and eternal.

Dried leaves are demanding, humbling, capricious and challenging to work with. One has to surrender, each leaf is a teacher in patience.
